read the following instructions for easy downloading.
If you want to be get intimated of further developments on OdiPhon then please add your email address to the notification database by using the following form. It will never be used other then the stated purpose.
Instructions For DownLoad
- Click On “DownLoad OdiPhon Ver-1.1”
- SaveAs dialog will come and ask you to save the file “OdiPhonVer1_1.exe”
- Save the file
- Execute the file “OdiPhonVer1_1.exe” by double clicking
on it.
- The Self Extractor Dialog box will come
- Press the “Unzip” button.
- This will extract and put the following files in
C:\OdiPhon directory. OdiPhon.exe --> THE ODIYA PHONETIC EDITOR,
ORSR0ntt.ttf --> THE OR-TTSARALA FONT, FontInstall.exe ---> The Font
Installer, Readme.txt and some help files.
- Close the Dialog box and go to the C:\OdiPhon
directory.
- Execute FontInstall.exe, it will install the Odiya
font in your Computer.
- Please read the Readme.txt file before using OdiPhon.
Now
Odiya Phonetic Editor(OdiPhon.exe) is ready to serve you. Double click on it
and start writing....
What's new in Version1.1
- Save As HTML file..... You can now save your
odiya document as a HTML file and can directly put it on web or can send
it as an attachment in your mail.
- Save As Text File..... (which is of course
relevant if the text is either only in English or only in Odiya).
- OdiPhon now covers all Odiya alphabets.The odiya
alphabets which are not implemented in Ver1.0 is now implemented.
- From Help menu you can now go directly to the OdiPhon
site on web.
- Floating menu with Right Mouse button clicking like MS WORD.
- Language Change Button in the Tool Bar.
- And some Other things......
